Today, during Stolen Phones press conference, the CTIA VP Chris Guttman-McCabe announced that “participating carrier members will educate consumers about the existence of applications that can lock/locate/and erase data from smartphones. There are a whole host of applications available from the Andriod, Blackberry, iPhone and Windows operating systems that allow you to locate, lock and wipe your smartphone.”
