Solution Architect – Payments & Collections

Length of Contract: 6 months (to start)

W2 Rate (all inclusive): $42.18-$48.51/hr

Key Requirements

  • Requirements and Design of Payment/Financial integration layer including internal / external interfaces (SAP, Payment)
  • Able to design for a framework to support a Tier 1 Telco Transformation
  • Designs should be based on sound SOA best practices that support modular integrated design concepts
  • Assess, Design, and Deliver an Integration Architecture that supports High Availability and Scalability
  • Contribute to and support Design for Enterprise Data Modeling (Entity-Relationship Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Data Vault Modeling)
  • Responsible for design and driving the enforcement of Interface Error Handling and Logging Processes
  • Accountable for ensuring the direction set by IT Management/Program Office, as well as ensuring best practices are followed across the interfaces development lifecycle
  • Provide input to project planning, resourcing, and budgeting activities

Qualifications

  • 8 – 10 years of service oriented software development / data integration design experience.
  • At least 3+ years functioning as an Integration Architect
  • Deep understanding of high available, high performance, distributed architectures
  • Expertise in Data Modeling (Entity-Relationship Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Data Vault Modeling, etc.)

Practical Experience in at least 5 or more of the following:

  • BSCS/CBiO implementation expertise (mandatory)
  • Experience in implementation of Amdocs Billing/Payment system
  • Master Data Management
  • SOA-based Data Integration
  • Customer Data Integration
  • Extract Transform & Load
  • Data Governance
  • XML, XSLT, XPath, XSD
  • SOA & Web Services (SOAP, XML-RPC, REST)
  • Middleware Solutions using Enterprise Service Bus or other
  • SQL, Stored Procedures, Database Triggers
  • UML & OOAD
  • Database design & management (Oracle)

Mandatory:

  • Deep Knowledge of SID model
  • Understanding of workflow based software design/testing
  • Experience with BSCS/CBiO, understand product life cycle and business process.
  • Understanding of charging tariff data and rating structure
  • Experience and understanding subscriber life cycle and business process.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Ordering management system, CRM, billing system. Good Understanding of their data model
  • Experience with Charging/Rating solution
  • Experience with Billing solution
  • Experience with EricssonPayment/Finance solution
  • Experience with TMO middleware (TIBCO)
  • Experience with Tier 1 operator service order/activation end-2-end flow

Other preferred skills:

  • High-Availability solution (including Geo-redundancy)
  • Weblogic, Java, XML/HTTP, JSON, REST
  • Oracle Geo-redundant solution: Data Guard, GoldenGate
  • SNMP, JMX
